For Employers

TalentEducators is responding to a prevalent Jewish education challenge of recruiting Jewish educators who are able to teach Hebrew, Jewish History, Israel education, or classic Judaic studies.

This is where we come in!

We want to help, both for the long-term sustainability of educational institutions, and to ensure that your institution is primed for success.

We search for talented Jewish educators via multiple global communication channels.

3,500+ candidates have applied to the fellowship. All undergo a diligent vetting process, and a fraction are accepted.

When working with TalentEducators, we will:

Invest time in getting to know you and your institution

so that we can create a clear profile of the ideal candidate.

Tap into our dynamic database for qualified candidates who fit your needs.

Send you appropriate candidates for your available positions

 and discuss next steps.

If you hire any of the candidates we refer to you, we will create an individualized professional development plan including:

Relevant coursework that may include MA programs, summer intensives, or one-day workshops.

Equip each educator with a professional mentor to provide weekly support.

Invite each educator to join a cohort that will be a safe zone to share, learn, and grow.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and partnership of the State of Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and the Jewish Agency for Israel there is no cost to you or the educator.

What WE need from YOU!

It’s simple…

Your collaboration in helping us find you the right educator
Please note:
– We do not pay the educator’s salary.
– We sponsor professional development and mentorship for successful matches.
– Recruiting Israeli shlichim is not part of the TalentEducators program.

TalentEducators has been a tremendous resource and partner for us this year. Properly training and onboarding new teachers is pivotal to their success, and TE has provided us with ideas and resources to develop a comprehensive plan. While we feel some impact immediately, I am most excited for the impact years down the road.
Rabbi Jordan Soffer,
Head of School, Striar Hebrew Academy

We at Pardes have been working with TalentEducators since the organization was founded, and have found them to be super-efficient, deeply understanding of what day schools need and how they function, and to have an excellent talent for matchmaking between teachers and schools.
Aviva Lauer Golbert
Director of Pardes Center for Jewish Educators

Last spring was a challenging time to fill vital openings for our Jewish and Hebrew Studies team. In seeking to fill these positions with outstanding candidates I was delighted to learn of the work of TalentEducators.Responsive to our particular needs and unique culture, TE helped us expand our reach by connecting us with educators that might be well-suited for The Davis Academy. More than a curated placement service, they have remained in close contact with the school and with our two new faculty members and even supported mentorship and professional development for both, all in partnership with our school.
Rabbi Micah Lapidus
Director of Jewish and Hebrew Studies
Davis Academy, Atlanta, Georgia
I have found TalentEducators staff to be extremely available and transparent. They worked hard with me to create bespoke and relevant support for my fellows.

Newer teachers need support and there is often not enough money in the budget to do this appropriately. TalentEducators steps into the gap and provides this service supporting new teachers, schools and the field as a whole.

As FZY is finding it consistently hard to recruit good staff from its own membership we are looking further afield and TalentEducators is able to support this process…if I was to hear of other organisations that were struggling to find staff in the Jewish education arena I would certainly suggest TalentEducators.

This is a totally wonderful gem of an opportunity for Jewish educators.
